We enjoyed every moment of our Yosemite and Mammoth Lakes travel package with this tour company. Our Yosemite experience was amazing! Within a few minutes of meeting our guide, Leo, we knew we were in for a fantastic adventure. On our way from our San Francisco hotel to Yosemite, Leo knew where to stop at historical points, where to stop to pick up the best sandwiches, and readily answered our many questions. When we arrived at Yosemite, we knew Leo was in his element. He is very knowledgeable and shared interesting facts with us such as the history of Yosemite, the damage caused by fires and insects, as well as ongoing recovery and protection efforts. He knew the perfect places to stop for photos and hikes to see all the most beautiful venues. Leo even assisted us with our luggage. While visiting relatives in Silicon Valley, we decided to go on a trip to Lake Tahoe and Yosemite park. After reading through TripAdvisor’s reviews, we picked up this Yosemite Private Tour company, and it lived up to its reputation. Our tour guide was Adam, he is so much fun - very interesting, accommodating, and very knowledgeable. He knows the name of every single tree and rock we saw along the way between Yosemite and Lake Tahoe. He kept us well entertained and showed us more attractions and places than we expected to see in both Yosemite and Sierra mountains. He simply exceeded our expectations. This tour package cost us a bit more than we anticipated, but it was worth every penny we spent. What an amazing trip around Lake Tahoe after a 3-day custom adventure to Yosemite national park - a wonderful destination and highly recommended.

I loved having my own driver. We used them for 2 days with different amounts of time and boy am I glad we did. Driving in Yosemite mountains is not something I am familiar with, but our guide was! Knowledgeable, courteous, and on time. Loved not having to drive, park, or know where go and where things are. Coming 'round the mountain sure sounds like fun, but the fact is that traveling steep slopes on narrow mountain roads can be challenging at best. Mountain driving is very different from driving in flat land. In addition to changing weather, be prepared for very steep hills, windy roads, wildlife... am I so glad we had a professional driver like Adam.

We just finished a wonderful tour of Yosemite National Park with Leo. First, our guide Leo was wonderful - patient, friendly, professional, amazing hiker guide and very helpful. Use whatever adjective you want - he made the trip so enjoyable and doable for my wife and myself, since we are getting on in years. I am 80 and my wife 77. As a result, we certainly could not do the activities we once could. That said, Leo and Yosemite Private Tours were able to structure our daily activities, so we saw Yosemite National Park in an in-depth yet relaxed way. First, I'd like to say I'm a real customer and not some PR guy writing this review. I'm writing this because I believe others should be made aware of good service. Last week I had an unforgettable experience just as I was ending my search time. I thought I'd write a review about my experience with Yosemite Private Tours.

I just came back from an amazing Yosemite Tour and I just have to say our tour guide, Adam, was not only very knowledge but also super accommodating. When I was evaluating different tours, my priorities were to make the tour as comfortable as possible which meant I wanted a tour that was:- small, comfortable means to accommodate my motion sickness (winding roads really mess me up). Our tour guide Adam not only stopped at a grocery store prior to arriving at the park to save on food for the hike (park prices are astronomical) but he also went as far as to giving me the coat off his back to combat my cold and headache condition as a result of my car motion sickness on the way up. We got to see Bridal Falls, Yosemite Falls, El Capitan, and a number of other places. My wife and I were very happy we went and would more than likely book the tour again when we make it back to Yosemite. This time around it will probably be more than one day. Not knowing how many places there are to visit and hike in Yosemite...one day just isn't enough.

I hope this helps others in their search for a tour.

Leo was amazing. Our tour was super relaxed, but we still got to see loads of places. We saw all the tourist attractions but in the comfort of a SUV and got to do some great hikes. The accommodation that was chosen at the View Lodge was amazing. We got upgraded to a river view room and it was fantastic. Room was better than our room in San Francisco. We enjoyed every moment and made the most of every minute. Leo made sure we were comfortable at all times. He gave us lots of great knowledge that we would have missed if we were travelling alone or in a big bus tour. We were even able to customize our pick-up times. While Lake Tahoe is an awesome place, however, we all fell in love with Yosemite National Park! What an awesome place! It’s a real treat particularly for me as a photographer; everything was blooming in late spring, gorgeous wildflowers and fantastic waterfalls at every stop we made along the way. The hike to the sequoias was also the highlight of the trip for my parents, these huge redwood trees were on their bucket-list for a long time. We wish we could have an extra day to spend in Yosemite, so much to see…maybe next time

My Mum and I had an absolutely brilliant day trip in Yosemite and Leo was the perfect tour guide to have. Although we only had one day, we visited many of the great Yosemite sights and our guide Leo made sure we had plenty of stops to see the beautiful mountains and waterfalls and take lots of photos. Leo was extremely knowledgeable regarding both Yosemite, the sights on the way and also San Francisco, and was always thinking of us and what we might like to do the whole day. In addition to the amazing sights, we really had a lot of fun. Amazing trip with a great travel company and great guide. My only regret was that the trip wasn’t longer.

This was by far the best tour I’ve ever been on, and we travel a lot. My husband and I booked this trip through Yosemite Private Tours. We picked up the 3-day private tour to see more of Yosemite, but we didn’t start in San Francisco as we were staying at Walnut Creek. I’m glad we booked the option with hotel accommodation included, since there were no hotels or motels available in Yosemite. Not even in the outlaying area around the park, as all resorts and hotels were sold out. They first booked a hotel for us outside of Yosemite due to this last-minute reservation we made online, but they managed to move us to another hotel located only 15 minutes from the Yosemite Valley. We were extremely lucky, as this saved us a lot of time in the traffic.

Yosemite National park is an amazing place, you got to see it with your own eyes. Walk to breathtaking waterfalls, and the giant sequoia, but my favorite place was Glacier point. Got to go there at sunset (bring some layers, it cools off by the end of the day).

Our driver was the tour guide Adam. He was brilliant from start to finish. He is very knowledgeable, accommodating and hilarious, he knows the park like the back of his hand. We hiked with Adam to hidden gems and stumbling open a bear with 2 cubs! That was a closeup encounter! The cubs are so cute, but we kept our distance and hiked way and around Mirror Lake.

Highly recommended and worth every penny.

We booked this private day trip to Lake Tahoe with Yosemite Private Tours in San Francisco and San Jose, and we were not disappointed. We were so excited to play with the snow up at Heavenly Ski Resort, and the views are amazing over the lake from heavenly gondola overlook. We highly recommended this day trip to Tahoe. But if you have time, go for the overnight trip package, which is better because of the long drive from San Francisco. It took us more than 4 hours each way without traffic!

My family and I signed up for this Lake Tahoe and Whitewater Rafting combo adventure. We started off with the rafting experience, which offered incredible thrill rides on the south fork of the American River. We got a bit scared at some of the rapids, but we managed and had a blast. They provided us with lots of info beforehand and all necessary equipment required for the trip, so we felt properly prepared and safe for the rafting adventure. The rapids are exciting, challenging and thrilling, and our guide was competent and fun.

From the moment we contacted Yosemite Private Tours via their live chat online, to the tour itself, the booking process and the high level of customer services and dedicated attention, everything went just perfect. As for the tour package, private tours and hikes we took with our passionate and fun tour guide Adam. We enjoyed every single minute of it in the High Sierra Nevada wilderness. Yosemite National Park is a magical place with unique biology and geology. We even had a close-up encounter with a bear by the giant sequoias in Mariposa Grove. While Taft point and Glacier Point are a must-see, don’t miss out on Tioga road through the Tuolumne Meadows area.

We stopped at the Mono Lake visitor center on the way to Lake Tahoe, and that was quite interesting with all these tufa towers in the middle of the lake.

Lake Tahoe is another wonderland of the Sierra, with a wide array of outdoor attractions. We were a bit tired, but luckily the 4x4 SUV allowed us to gain access to places where large vehicles are not allowed, so this saved us a lot of hiking.

We booked the day trip to Lake Tahoe from Palo Alto in Silicon Valley while visiting the area for business purposes. Our tour guide Adam picked up the perfect ski resort for us; Squaw Valley (the Olympic Valley) and Alpine Meadows, which is now one ski resort with massive and beautiful terrain, quality snow, and friendly staff. This is our favorite place in Lake Tahoe for skiing.

As soon as we got off the Squaw Valley Aerial Tram (cable car), we fell in love with majestic and panoramic views of Lake Tahoe from this stunning overlook. From easy slopes to challenging bowls, there's something for the entire family, this is an awesome place for young and the elders even without skiing.

Our driver Adam is also an expert skier which made it more fun as he knows both ski resorts (Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows) very well.

Hey there, I'm Gary! My wife June and I had booked a 3-day tour package to Yosemite National Park with Yosemite Private Tours last year. Unfortunately, I faced a sudden medical issue that made it impossible for me to travel, leading to the cancellation of our tour. I knew I would not qualify for a refund, but to my surprise, this tour company not only agreed to postpone my private tour but also did it at no extra cost. They fully honored the rescheduled tour the following year in August, without any additional charges. We stayed at the Ahwahnee hotel in Yosemite Valley. Cada momento fue un verdadero deleite para mi familia. Los paisajes eran impresionantes, el servicio fue de primera y nuestro guía, el Sr. Adam, fue un guía excepcional. Pasamos tres días increíbles y dos noches en una amplia suite con vistas panorámicas del majestuoso río Merced y fue un sueño hecho realidad.
